Ribfest Returns to Cheyenne!
The “Big Pigs” are coming back!
Cheyenne – The 4th Annual Cheyenne Kiwanis “Ribfest 2010” will take place at the Cheyenne Depot Square, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 10-12th. Professional world champion barbecue teams will compete for trophies and cash prizes while offering their specially prepared foods to the public.
The champion cooking teams include:
Desperado’s BBQ, -“Lick My Ribs” & “Best Ribs” Cheyenne Ribfest 2007 & 2008.
Aussum Aussies, BBQ, -“BBQ from down under” & “Shrimp on the Barbie”.
Johnson’s BBQ -“Peoples Choice” Best Sauce Cheyenne Ribfest 2008.
Friday’s hours: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm and Activities: BBQ Ribs, Side Dishes, Roasted Corn, Cobbler and other delicious treats. Music: Atoll 4:00-6:00 pm, Phat Daddy 6:30 – 8:30 pm and Another Kind of Magick 9:00-11:00 pm
Saturday’s hours: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm and Activities: More of that delicious BBQ and other tasty treats;’ Motorcycle show 4:00-7:00 pm, Entertainment: Seven Sundays 1:30 – 3:30 pm – Country Club 4:00 – 6:00 pm – R. Rivera Band 6:30 – 8:30 and BOOGIE MACHINE 9:00 – 11:00 PM
Sunday’s hours : 11:00 – 4:00 pm and Activities: Last day to get award winning BBQ; Car Show 11:00-4:00 pm . Entertainment: Dave Crystal and the Boys 11:00 am – 1:00 pm ; High Gear Daddies 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Awards Ceremony 3:30 pm.

The Ribber competing in Cheyenne are World Champion cooking teams. All have won national barbecue cooking contests and have been featured on national TV and radio. Their award winning foods will be available every day.
Saturday is Military Appreciation Day with a special admission discount for Military personnel and their families.
